Why an app loses your poker history

Almost always the same way: the app needs you to log in, and one day the login stops working. The phone offloads the app, a token expires, an update resets the session — and years of results are behind a registration screen that will not let you back in.
Roll has no account, so it has no login to fail. Your sessions are in a database file on your phone. If this app disappeared tomorrow, your history would still be there, and you could still export it.

One tap to start

Save your regular game as a template — venue, stakes, usual buy-in. One tap starts it and times it. The clock runs on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island.

Never forget the cash-out

Stopping a session goes straight to the result entry, with no way past it. A session cannot end with the amount unrecorded.

Cash and tournaments kept apart

Hourly rate and big blinds per hour for cash. ROI and in-the-money for tournaments. The two are only ever added together if you explicitly ask.

An hourly rate that is actually right

A session where you did not record the hours is left out of the per-hour maths entirely, instead of being counted as zero hours and quietly inflating your rate.

Bankrolls that add up

Live, online, a specific site, a staking deal. Deposits, withdrawals and transfers. The balance is always worked out from your sessions — there is no box to type a number into.
